When it first flew in September 1964, the TSR2 (Tactical Strike & Recon - Mach 2) was the most technically advanced aircraft of its day. Designed to deliver tactical nuclear strikes with pin-point accuracy, its speed, handling capabilities and its advanced guidance, radar and targeting systems made it the most formidable aircraft on the planet. Beset by design, manufacturing and production issues only one prototype flew before the Government axed the project due to its cost and TSR2 was grounded forever. On this 60 minute tour, our expert guides will take you 'over the ropes' for a close look at this amazing aircraft and give you a unique insight into its design, development, testing and ultimate cancellation.
