IWM Duxford | Detect, Direct, Defend, Deny: The Uses of Airborne Electronic Warfare
Following on from our 2023 WW2 Photo Reconnaissance winter exhibition, this 60 minute talk and tour traces the development of Airborne Electronic Warfare from the early days of H2S radar to the present day, and demonstrates how airborne surveillance and aircraft counter-measures have progressed over the last 85 years. Our expert guide will take you 'behind the ropes' and you will see several aircraft in our AirSpace exhibition hall, including the Avro Lancaster and the TSR2. You will also get the opportunity to climb into our Avro Vulcan and see, first hand, the Air Electronics' Officer's 'office' onboard.
Please note: in addition to your Airborne Electronic Warfare ticket, you will also need to book a General Admission ticket to enter IWM Duxford.
